Copyright Decision Tool (Blog Assignment)

      The first thing that I chose was a book and for the propose that the work is being used for as private study, research. When doing private study or research you can only copy ten percent or a full chapter from a book. If you plan on publishing your research, you don't have to include the copy of the sections of the book that you used.

      The second situation that I picked was when your dealing with a art piece, like a painting or maybe a picture, or even music, the work is from a copy right protected work. The case that I used was in the case of a commercial, or entertainment or public distribution. You can generally not use the copyright protected work if it is, not for the purpose of research, education, news reporting, etc.. If it is intended to be used for commercial activity, or used to make profit you can not use it. If you wanted to use music for a non-educational purpose you would have to obtain a licence to use it.

      For my last situation I picked a Newspaper, and the case that I picked was if you are using it for criticism, Review, or News reporting. You can copy the entire news paper article as part of the research process, and you can include portions of the article in your work

Explanation of sound effects to be created and plan of action

The four sounds that I think I am going to be making is, foot steps, something falling, a car revving, and a door shutting. I picked these sounds because I thought that it would be kinda easy to create these sounds and they were also something I thought would be cool to make sound effects for. Web Design Principles

A few websites I enjoyed were,  Design of the World   I really liked the lay out of this website and I enjoy how it functions. I think that the look of it is very neat and tidy. I enjoy the different pops of color that I see when I scroll through it. I think that when I design my website I might try and recreate the lay out that it has or try and use the same kinds of colors and or just try and take the qualities I liked the most and out it into my own website. Another website that I  kind of enjoyed was, Inspiration Grid , I liked how this website was also laid out, I liked how it showed you what kind of material was going to be on the website right once you click on it. I don't know if I'll put much of these elements into my own website because I think that it is similar to the old one but I did like it.
